A leading B2B agriculture marketplace and a major agribusiness company are sowing digital advancements to help farmers boost crop productivity. AgVend has joined forces with Bayer’s seed and agribusiness division to further develop FieldView, Bayer’s premier digital farming platform.

FieldView empowers farmers with detailed digital harvest reports that include data on yield, harvested area, moisture, seed performance, and productivity.

“Our customers want to maximize crop performance, secure a strong return on investment, and achieve the full potential of their fields,” says Brandon Rinkenberger, Bayer’s Chief Customer Officer for Climate and Digital Farming. “By creating options that allow farmers to securely share data, their agronomic partners can provide tailored recommendations in real time, enhancing the experience for our shared customers.”

FieldView is the flagship product of Climate LLC, Bayer’s digital farming arm, designed to give farmers a deeper understanding of their fields. With this tool, farmers can make more informed decisions to optimize yields, increase efficiency, and reduce risk.

AgVend, a B2B marketplace for agricultural products, claims to have captured 20% of North America’s agriculture input retail market. Through its grower portal, AgVend partners with over 35 companies, covering around 15% of the U.S. crop input and services market.

“We’re on a mission to create a digitally connected supply chain that serves both retailers and farmers,” says Alexander Reichert, CEO, and co-founder of AgVend. “By partnering with Bayer, we’re building a foundation for a more efficient, customized approach to agronomic support—delivering the right insights precisely when and where they’re needed to enhance farmer profitability.”
