Sonepar USA makes a key hire for digital transformation

Sonepar USA has announced Heather Naida as its new senior vice president of sales, marketing, and customer experience.

In this newly created role, Naida will oversee digital commerce and transformation initiatives, driving sales growth in strategic areas such as national accounts, industrial, lighting, and solar/electric vehicles. Sonepar USA is a distributor of electrical, industrial, and safety products and services.

Sonepar USA, which generates $13.9 billion in annual sales and operates 490 branches nationwide, continues to invest in its digital capabilities as part of a broader strategy to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Naida has over 20 years of experience in commercial sales and leadership. Most recently, she served as vice president and general manager at Fluke Corp., a leading manufacturer of industrial test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment. Prior to that, she led sales operations at Johnson Controls, where she spearheaded a digital transformation initiative. Naida holds a B.S.E. in Industrial and Operations Engineering and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Sonepar has committed over $1.09 billion (€1 billion) to its digital transformation over the next five years. The company said it aims to deliver a seamless, digitally driven omnichannel experience to its customers.
